The "AS" factor.

Its never about personalities
If something in me stays untried
Or undone by the father
He sends a hand or tool
To push me right back into the fire
That I may find refinement.

Can I then judge a person
For being the father's tool?
Am I not the better for it?!
The tool itself will be scorched
From pushing another into the fire
And will have to be refined in itself.
Your learning curve is only complete
When you see the father's hand at work.

The clamour for love at the beginning
Becomes sour when we weigh one another
Without the measuring rod called, The Father
Things fall into perspective
As we journey through...
That is when the sweetness we see today
Becomes the dragon that spits fire tomorrow .
What changed?
What brought the change?
The Father's fire.

So the questions that plague me,
Why would I choose an unrefined tool over a refined one?
Why should I trust that when the unrefined goes thru the fire, I will still see what I see presently?
If it is not about persons,
Why is it hard to see that my Father is indeed at work
Towards perfection, far beyond good?

Now i have concluded
That the heart is a multi-faceted tool
A house holding many houses in itself
Always making space
To accommodate much more love.

Let him who has been shown much love
Do the same to another
Same measure,
The Love of Christ.. ..the 'AS' factor.

The beast is in every man All it waits for is an opportunity to present itself And the other side is manifested. It's so easily suppressed when opportunity is far Yet easy to point at another and criticize When his own opportunity is near. But time and chance happens to every man. The longest 2 weeks

20/10/2020 The date many will not forget in a while. A very significant date to many youths in Nigeria.  That was the day I put to bed. In the midst of that chaos, I had my own personal crisis. I had a c-section. And it was successful. I had my husband with me through the surgery.... I heard your voice telling me to stay awake. You said it repeatedly, "Babe. Please stay awake for me. I beg you. Please don't go to sleep". And you held my hand and soothed my forehead just to keep me calm. And it was all I needed at that time....or so I thought until I saw the tiny being that was just extracted from my belly, wrapped up in a green cloth and screaming at the top of his lungs. Then, I knew there was always room for more.
