Sweet CraZy Day

Woke up this Thursday morning, feeling groovy with myself. Wore a sexy little number and did my makeup. Packed up a little bag and headed out. It was supposed to be a solo outing...pulling all the crazy stunts on my own but it ended up being just a tad more than that. Heard there was a trade fair on going on the Island. In order to beat traffic, I headed out early enough and yes, I did beat traffic. The trade fair was quite fun...strolling through the stalls almost getting lost in the crowd...it was fun. I just wish I had a little more money on me. I would have gotten the cute set of knives for my kitchen. As it was, I didn't get it. Went around the whole complex like twice or thrice...can't really tell cos I got lost many times and had to get my bearing again and again. Afterward, I had to visit my ex, who is also still a good friend of mine. Business things. Talked over lunch and the only sensible thing I got from our discussion was the complement he gave me. I remember that because he said it more than three times. He said I was glowing...and he hadn't seen that since we first met...and he was certain that a guy was involved. I was glowing like someone in love. Laughing. How I wish that was true. The only thing that makes me glow right now is the joy of knowing myself...seeing myself through the eyes of God. I love what I see. I'm loving me. Anyway, I left and went to the movies to see the new 007 movie: Skyfall with a friend, more like a brother. And mehn, it was fun! Now for the crazy part...after the movie, we had to go back to his apartment to crash. And as we got out it was already so dark. No cabs! No bikes! We had to walk some distance to get a bus...it was a crazy trip to the house, jumping buses and walking. Eventually we got to the house by midnight. And wow, the gates were locked. And we knockd at the gate for hours...we eventually found a way...he had to jump over the fence to open the gate for me. Laughing my head off. That was some memorable day! We stayed up and talked most of the night and well, got little sleep and had to head out early the next morning for work! Oh wow. I'm glad. I needed that experience. Its something to add to my crazy portfolio.
